The Matt Cossa Memorial Foundation is based in Cary, NC. Our organization is dedicated to promote the support of cancer patients, research and treatment. With an all-volunteer staff, we strive to rally the community to help support our cause in memory of Matt, who we lost in March, 2006 to Hodgkins’ Lymphoma. In just six years, we have raised over $165,000 for cancer research. For 2013, we are proud to announce that we will be partnering with Make-A-Wish America and net proceeds from our efforts will go to this wonderful organization to help grant wishes for children, many of whom have cancer-related medical conditions.

Thanks to all who came out to Mellow Mushroom in Charlotte for our fundraising night! We raised over $500 for Make-A-Wish and had a great night of friends, pizza and live music.
The UNC Loreleis, an all-women, award winning a cappella group have agreed to return and perform at Bats for Matt this year. We will also have the Amazing Magic of Wayne Anderson once again. You can get more information about these performers at our Bats for Matt page.
The Give $12 for 12/12/12 campaign raised over $5,300 which has been donated to Make-A-Wish. Thanks to all of our supporters for helping to give us a great start going into the new year.
