Get out your running shoes!  The second annual Miles for Matt 5k will be held on Saturday, March 10th, at the WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.  Serious runners and casual walkers of all ages are welcome on race day to band together to fight cancer.  The course at WakeMed is a dirt path starting at the open field and winding through the wooded area with multiple opportunities to pass by your family and friends cheering you on by the start / finish line!

Registration

Online registration is now closed.  However, you can still register the morning of the event.  On-site registration will be open from 8:00-8:45 with the race scheduled to begin at 9:00.  There are no limits on the number of registrations.

The cost is $30 and includes a 2012 Miles for Matt 5K tech shirt (while supplies last). 

Race Day

Please arrive at the field to the left of the soccer stadium between 8 and 9am.  There will be entertainment provided by DJ George and sponsor booths set up for you and your family to enjoy before and after the race with a post-race breakfast.  An awards ceremony will follow the race with prizes given to the top finishers in several age brackets.  All prizes are donated by Omega Sports.  Find directions to WakeMed with the map below.
